Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 June 2026
This policy explains what information Not.Fund collects when you use this website or submit a pitch, why we collect it, how we keep it safe, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
“Not.Fund” (“we”, “us”) is a venture, private equity and M&A firm and a trading name of an entity to be incorporated; full corporate details will be published here once available. For any privacy question, contact pitch@not.fund.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us:
- Pitch applications. When you submit the application form we receive the details you enter — your name, email, role and links, your company and what you are building, your traction, market and fundraising information — and any files you upload (for example your deck or one-pager).
- Direct messages. If you email pitch@not.fund, we receive your message and contact details.
- Technical data. To operate and secure the site we record limited technical information with each submission, such as the IP address, timestamp and browser type. This is used to prevent abuse and spam.
Why we use it & legal basis
We use your information solely to review your pitch and respond to you, and to operate and protect the website. Our legal basis (GDPR) is our legitimate interest in assessing investment opportunities and in keeping the service secure, together with your consent in choosing to submit the form. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or automated decision-making.
Who can see it
Your application is shared only with Not.Fund’s partners and team members involved in evaluating it. To deliver application notifications we use our own mail infrastructure (an SMTP mailbox on the not.fund domain). We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing.
How we store & protect it
- Data is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
- Applications and uploaded files are stored on our own server in the EU, in a private location that is not publicly accessible, with restricted access.
- Application emails are sent over authenticated, encrypted SMTP.
How long we keep it
We keep your application for as long as needed to evaluate it and for a reasonable period afterwards in case we reconnect. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, ask for a copy in a portable format, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email pitch@not.fund. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Cookies & third parties
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It loads one typeface (JetBrains Mono) from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is shared with Google for that request; all other fonts and assets are served from our own server.
Changes
We may update this policy as the firm is formally incorporated and as our practices evolve. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
